Get Lei’d, Inc., has been doing business in Las Vegas, Nevada for more than four years providing the casino and hotel industry, as well as individuals, with fresh flower leis, exotic maile style leis as well as the striking kukui nut designer leis. Its parent company, FACT International, LLC, also does business as Flowers Are Coming Tomorrow and Gourmet Orchids which imports and sells long stem (3.5 feet and 5 feet) roses with associated other cut flowers and gourmet orchids for garnishes (and those parties that require large quantities of loose head orchids!!). FACT provides both wholesale and retail flowers for consumer use.
The leis include both fragrant and non fragrant varieties and come in various colors with a mix of assorted flowers. The fresh leis last around 3 to 10 days depending on the flower selected and storage temperature (refrigeration is required). The kukui leis, which can be painted any color and marked with imprints or slogans, have no shelf life. The gourmet orchids which are used for garnishes are approximately two to three inches wide and last 7 to 10 days at refrigeration of 34 degrees Fahrenheit. These orchids have been inspected by the US Department of Agriculture prior to shipment and can be delivered to your establishment within three to five days from order placement. The roses come directly from South American and have also been inspected by the US Department of Agriculture prior to shipment. Their shelf life is approximately 10 to 14 days and can be delivered within 5 days of order placement. As noted, they come in a wide variety of colors and can be packaged as bouquets or centerpieces with a variety of fillers and other flowers. The size of the rose head is a function of the stem length and range from two to approximately 12 inches. The stem lengths that we generally sell are 1 and 1.4 meters (3.25 and 4.58 feet), although we can procure other shorter, stem lengths.
We actively support two foundations with a portion of our profits: the Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research and a long term, no kill, dog shelter located in central Nevada. We also have a program designed for profit and nonprofit companies to sell fresh flower leis and kukui nut leis to consumers to earn up to 50 percent profit to support their organization.
Our goal has been to provide our customers with some of the more exotic tropicals at reasonable and affordable prices. The fresh leis and other orchids come from the Pacific rim and Southeast Asia; the roses and other cut flowers come from Ecuador and Southeast Asia. We have well established and reliable suppliers and have the ability to construct the leis at our site in Las Vegas.
