About Us

Once you have placed your order, the process of hand making your leis will begin. Soon your leis will be on a plane, next in a delivery depot, then finally, on a truck direct to you. When your leis arrive, they may be warm and thirsty. All fresh flower leis require care on your part to increase their life span and to provide you with added days of enjoyment and use.

The Bozo lei, Carnation lei, Ginger lei, He'e lei, Kika lei, Maile lei, Orchid lei, Pikake lei, Rose lei, Ti lei and Tuberose Lei require refrigeration. Keep in mind, these are living flowers and the care you give them will ensure a longer lifespan.

When your hand crafted fresh flower leis reach your home, open the box and "fluff the lei". Your leis have been lying on one side for quite some time so by gently brushing the petals and turning the lay over on its opposite side inside the box you will circulate the air and let trapped hot air escape.
Step 2
Next, place the lid back on the box, but not all the way. Leave a 1 inch opening so that your leis can continue to breathe as air circulates through the box.
Step 3
Now place the box inside your refrigerator for up to 24hrs. If you are storing your leis in the refrigerator longer, be sure to close the box after 24hrs. This will keep your beautiful, fresh flower leis looking there best for several days.
Step 4
Last, just because you wear the lei does not mean it can no longer be stored. After wearing , simply return to original box inside your refrigerator. The Plumeria lei requires a little different care These leis actually last longer at 60 degrees Fahrenheit and can be stored in an air conditioned room. Refrigerators can be too cold for the plumeria lei, causing some browning of the flowers. One method of keeping this lei fresh longer is to repack them in an ice chest/cooler by adding a frozen gel pack to the bottom of the container, keeping the flowers out of direct contact with the freezer pack. When this rare beauty of a lei gets to your home, place a tray or two of ice cubes in a sink and add water until they melt. Immerse the lei briefly in the cold water bath for a good soaking (actually push the lei underwater). Remove the plumeria lei from its cold bath, gently shake the excess water off and put it away, still damp, in a location as described above. This should be done on arrival and about two hours before wearing this beautiful exotic lei.
